I found a boil under my breast a few days ago.

It came to a head today but in this area 2 days ago I noticed that the skin under my breast was thick.

I know that this is one of the symptoms of IBC but a nurse told my mom it was soft tissue hurt but that just seems odd for boil to do something like that.

By the way breast cancer runs in my family.

My mom had breast implants for 6 months and now her left breast is giving her pain around it and she can feel a bump-like on top of her breast.. how can we know what it is that’s causing this

Place simply my mom has several doctors that have conflicting opinions.

She has gotten 2nd opinions and none of the DR’s agree on anything. No body even says what stage it is. With 3 mamograms we knew something was up, but they had never said they plotting it was cancer.

They sent her for a biopsy ( as in the past) but this was not a needle, this was with a scalpel. They did ultra sound, and MRI.

She went to a radiologist who said he could not do 8 weeks treatment because it was close to the heart. So her oncologist recommends mastectomy. She called the Radioligist back and told him the recommendation, he said he would not do it if it was him. He said MRI can be incorrect, they are so sensitive. He would rather risk heart hurt down the road.

Has any person had to make the treatment choice on thier own, and should they tell her what stage she is in.

The biopsy was positive on AUG 1.

They say it might be 2 spots and might be in the lymph nodes.

….before being diagnosed with breast cancer?

I am a small worried in this area my mom.

They found a tumor in one of her breast and she had not gotten a mammography done in the past 8 yrs.

Hi everyone.

I went to the doctor recently and I am having some woman tribulations but when my doctor was doing a routine exam before my pap smear, she said she found lumps in both of my breasts and then questioned if anyone in my family had experienced breast cancer or is currently going through it.

I told her that my grandma (dad’s mom) had it in 1993 and it got terrible enough that she got one of her breasts removed. I also told her my mom suffers from cysts in her breasts but the doctor had told her they were nothing to be worried in this area.

My doctor told me that breast cancer has been known to skip generations and that she wants me back in a month for my other tribulations in a month (which it will be a month in in this area 1 1/2 weeks) and to keep an eye on it and if my breasts really start to hurt..let her know, because my nipples have been in a lot of pain and sensitive to the touch for over a month now…

Well, last week my actual boobs started hurting, behind the nipple, and around it…I guess I am not sure if there are "signs" to look for to be cautious….besides the lumps or not.

Any person experience is very welcome!

I’m 16 and today my breast was hurting a small so I checked it out.

I felt a hard lump, that was painful a small.

I checked the other one, and it felt fine.

My mom checked my lymph nodes around my armpits and there is no swelling or pain there. Please help me. I’m on the verge of tears and I am so frightened right now.

Do you reckon I have breast cancer?

If not, what is it.

What is the best treatment for breast cancer for 40 year ancient women? My mom has cancer and she doesn’t know what to do…
well…. she HAS gone to the doctor already and the doctor told her to choose what she want to do in this area it….(some doctor huh???)

My mother’s mammogram showed some bumps in one of her breasts. She is scheduled for an ultra sound to determine what it is, but in the meantime can anyone suggest what that might be? Do you reckon she has cancer? Is it too early to tell? She will be 47 in August

RESPONSE

The ultrasound will tell for sure what the problem is. She may just have cysts instead of tumors. My sister recently had a mammogram and ultrasound done because they noticed “something” in the mammogram. It turned out she had 4 cysts, 2 cysts in each breast. I had a cyst in my breast 4 years ago and had it removed. My sister isn’t removing hers. If it’s a tumor, it could be benign or cruel. Breast cancer is a very curable disease. My mom had breast cancer in 1993 and is still alive and well. She had a lumpectomy, to remove the tumor, then radiation and took Tamoxifin. The cancer never came back. Don’t assume the worst. Hope for the best. Hope that helps.

My mom just found out she has a rarer form of breast cancer. Its not the type that is a lump, instead its a thickening of the skin. Its not inflammed or red looking it just feels thick I guess more like a heartless and is in this area 3 inches long. Anyone hear of this type of breast cancer? I have done a search online but only come up with the Inflammatory cancer which I dont reckon this is. The doctor said its not really an aggressive form if that helps.
