Breast Reading

It all started as ductal carcinoma of the left breast.

It would now appear to have spread to the lungs and probably other organs and the bones.

Of late, what appears to be metastatic spread in the lungs, would no longer respond or react to the drugs introduced as chemotherapy.

I know to feel for lump/lumps in the breast, but how obvious is the lump? Is it visible and are there any pains involved? I have large breasts and even if it feels like a lump, I’m not quite sure and unfortunately, recently lost our health indemnity. *Serious question-No jokes, please.*

I really need sources on where to find information in this area Breast Cancer Treatment from the 1900’s to the present. We are doing a Camp for the Cure and part of the badge work for "In the Pink" says to share the information in this area treatments from the 1900’s to the present. We are making poster for the local Race for the Cure in October. I really need some kind of information. My web searches have come up with small especially for the 1900’s. Most refer me to medical journals which you have to be a medical professional and pay for the subscription online.

Really need the medical treatments. I know the patient’s first hand experience is fantastic for them to know, but we have ladies coming in to talk to them in this area this part of the treatments. We need more of a timeline on the progress of treatment from the 1900’s to the present.
All the information that is on the Girl Scout Studio 2B is at my finger tips all the time since I am serving as an Adult volunteer for a Camp Events Committee for the local council. I have already Googled and have most of the sites not compulsory bookmarked. I was trying to find something new. What was the technology, resources, and if they didn’t know exactly what it was what did they do in the 1900’s?

Treatment help? Doctors and serious answers pls..?

So I am a 14 year ancient girl of very excellent health. I have my regular check ups and every thing. But I was riding my 4-wheeler today out on one of my favorite trails, and when I went over a jump something happened. I don’t know exactly because it all went too quick but the soubriquet bar jabbed me in my breast really hard. There was a huge bruise and I reckon I may have cracked a rib.

I have heard that if you hit your breast to hard you can get breast cancer I was just wondering if this was right? And if you have any advise for treating a cracked rib please also answer.

My oncologist says that i am finished with my treatment for breast cancer and if I have a recurrence that it will be classified as a terminal illness.
